Bunsei | Checkered Petal Cup

"Bunsei" is a Marubun-Arita original collection with a history of more than 30 years. The glaze and hand-painting technique is developed after years of research. Its distinctive red painting and exquisite patterns exude the charm of olden day porcelain.

This vessel is created from iron powder and a glaze to painstakingly recreate the texture of early Japanese Imari porcelain.
