HANA Flower Pencils
Inspired by Japan’s native flora's colours and shapes, each set of Flower Pencils, HANA, consists of 5 coloured pencils.
Produced with a waste-free method using MAPKA - a material derived from recycled paper, Flower Pencils HANA offers both a range of unique colours and tangible quality not found in wood or plastic alternatives.
When sharpened, the shavings that come out of the pencil sharpener look just like flower petals. Flower Pencils HANA transforms the routine act of drawing and sharpening pencils into a pleasant experience, and it is a great gift that will surprise the person who receives it.
HANA Flower Pencils won the IF World Design Award in 2019.
Snow Pencils Yuki
Snow Pencils, with their unique snowflake shape in three gleaming colours, call to mind a soft winter snowfall. The pencil body is made of an environmentally conscious material produced mainly from recycled paper. As you sharpen a Snow Pencil - engineered for easy sharpening, the shavings twirl down in snowflake-shaped spirals, which are fully recyclable as paper waste. As you write with a Snow Pencil, it decorates the page with distinctive, demure shades of white, gold, or silver. YUKI Snow Pencils won the IF World Design Award in 2019.
Sharper is included.
A set of 3 pieces.
MINAMO Water Surface Plate
Water that you'll want to spill on the table. Minamo is a metal plate that captures the glittering surface of water using a combination of craftsmanship and technology. Although it's considered highly difficult to replicate the complex yet gentle curves, a team of designers managed to pull it off using a combination of computer simulation, digital moulds utilising 3D modelling tools, and metal stamping techniques from a small factory.
Minamo works with any cuisine and adds a magical atmosphere to any table. The word minamo comes the ancient reading of 水面, meaning water surface in Japanese.
Designed by Esai Shibagaki, made of Stainless steel with chrome mirror finish. Please use hand-wash with detergent and sponge when cleaning, avoid scraping with any scouring pad.
