Based in the town of Kanazawa in Ishikawa Prefecture, NORTA works with crafts facilities in the surrounding regions to produce interior goods for the modern homes. The Kutani Maneki Neko Aroma Candle is a scented candle developed by a cosmetic firm based in Nomi City, poured in an original porcelain vessel design made by the Kutani porcelain craftsman in Ishikawa. The vessels are hand-painted with gorgeous traditional Kutani Yaki patterns, with a little Neko (cat) figurine that sits on its lid.
