Kinshodo Co., Ltd. is located in Arita, where it has continued to be one of Japan’s leading porcelain producing areas since 1616. Arita’s outstanding craftsmanship supports Kinshodo's “Lin” series and unique colours. Besides, the anti-bacterial and anti-virus coating technology of “Lin NY +” was developed by Saga Prefecture. By making full use of such local skills, the company seeks to create a world-class manufacturing centre.
Linzo Kaneko was an excellent painter who was active around 1900. It became the origin of the “Lin” series. He received the first prize at the Arita International Ceramic Exhibition at that time. He is the great-grandfather of the current president of Kinshodo. Kinshodo was founded by Teruo, Minato, in 1961, the parents of the current president. At the time of our founding, there were insufficient funds. However, Teruo, who had a serious personality, worked hard and gained his business partners' trust and expanded the sales channels.
