MERLION KEBAYA
The celebrated Mascot of Singapore, the Merlion stands tall against the backdrop of the traditional Southeast Asia batik motifs, Kebaya. This striking portrait symbolises the multifaceted Singapore where at first glance, is modern and progressive and at a closer examination, invites us to understand Singapore and her roots as a multi-cultural society.
Afterall, the Merlion being part-lion and part-fish is a tale that runs more than just skin (or stone) deep.
