As one of Asia’s best museums specialising in pan-Asian cultures, the scenic route to the Asian Civilisations Museum is no stranger to visitors. Passing over the historic Cavenagh Bridge that sits atop the Singapore River, where bum boats leisurely glide by, the yellow-and-white neo-classical facade of the building is home to a fascinating and comprehensive series of galleries, spanning 9th century shipwrecks to ancient religions.
