Situated in Akita Prefecture, a region with 800 years of lacquerware history, Urushi Studio Settsu is dedicated to traditional lacquer craft. Through the utilisation of natural materials and meticulous finishing, the studio endeavors to capture authentic colours and luster in lacquer craft. These qualities, unattainable through industrial processes, are perfected by the skilled artisan, Mr. Settsu.
