Singapore Architecture Collection
Singapore River used to be the centre of trade, commerce and finance. Paying tribute to the River that has helped develop our architectural landscape and economy, different plates of architectural scenes in Singapore are designed, using the river as a connecting point between the plates. The signature designs of the Singapore Architecture collection are The Singapore River and The Marina Bay porcelain plate.
The Singapore River was once the centre of trade in the early days of Singapore. Formerly the old Port of Singapore, the mouth of the Singapore River and its surroundings remain to-date one of the most expensive and thriving piece of land in Singapore. The Merlion, The Sir Stamford Raffles statue and old shophouses are some of the notable landmarks along the Singapore River. Today, the Singapore River is transformed into a nightlife district and tourist hotspot, full of life and energy much like in its early days.
