(Air) Lamp

The work explores how air might shape, hold and reconfigure light. In place of rigid joints or hardware, (Air)just uses the outward force of an inflated bladder to navigate stability. As air is added or removed, the form adjusts, offering moments of tension, collapse or constriction. As a result, light is tuned rather than turned on, held delicately in the balance of pressure and resistance. (Air)just reveals how structure might not only stem from fixtures, but also through the quiet choreography of air.
