Scaffold - Floor Lamp

A modular bamboo furniture system, Scaffold reinterprets knot-tying techniques in Hong Kong's vanishing bamboo scaffolding tradition. Its unique joint mechanism replaces nylon ties with steel wire, preserving the tactile, string-based logic that accommodates for bamboo's natural irregularities. With a single winding action, the wire tightens and locks the joint, mirroring the intuitive and adaptive spirit of traditional scaffolders.
