These objects seemingly serve only everyday functions, but they also shape how we socialise at dinner, and our perceptions of the users and their cultures. Such invisible outcomes can create more value than the objects’ apparent attributes. In “Social Wares”, we explore the designers’ role in society and the positive changes we can bring about.
Designed by Studio Juju, “Tingkat” is a set of tablewares that prompts diners to consider how we eat, both alone and together. This collection is inspired by the traditional tin box we used to transport meals, but reimagined for the home.

Quality Of Product:
Porcelain is a medium where colour variation is a natural occurring feature of reactive, speckled, matte and cobalt-blue glazed finishing. Irregularities in glaze and texture should be celebrated as a mark of the artist's hand. Therefore, each piece is unique and has a handcrafted element to it.
