Bangko Bangko Bangko - Tall Bangko V2 Stool
The object reimagines the basahan (a doormat) as a bangko (a simple bench found in homes and outdoor spaces across the Philippines). Both objects are humble, handmade and deeply embedded in daily life. Woven from discarded fabrics, the basahan carries stories of frugality and care, while the bangko signifies the warmth of gathering, rest, joy and connection. By weaving together these local traditions, the piece reflects values of practicality, humility and camaraderie.
