Loup: Textiles in Translation

Holes in knitted textiles are the result of a single yarn breaking, which causes loops to unravel endlessly and the hole to eventually expand. Loup: Textiles in Translation intentionally modifies such knit structures to explore unravelling as a technique for textile deformation. The textile pieces in the collection are designed to morph, revealing new textures and volumes, shifting between objects and wearables.
