Merge Wishing Pagoda - Pink

A sculptural object inspired by the Korean tradition of stacking stones to express their wishes and hopes. Echoing the patience and discipline of this meditative ritual, Merge_Wishing Pagoda is created through the repetitive layering and sanding of natural lacquer. Colours from nature’s seasons emerge in the work, revealing the passage of time and its associated emotions.
